William McClennan & Alex Kieth 

Youth Delegates, Special Olympics

 

William McClennan and Alex Keith are youth leaders at Yorktown High School in Arlington VA.  William will be a junior and Alex will be a senior this upcoming school year. Both students are champions of inclusion by being active members of their high school’s Best Buddies chapter and also as teammates on  their Unified Basketball and Track teams. Their friendship started through sports but has evolved over the years through their Best Buddies and Special Olympics’ activities.

They are both driving forces for social inclusion for students in Arlington County Public Schools.  William and Alex are proud to be part of the Unified Generation that is paving the way for quality and respect for those with intellectual disabilities.
