Adriana Calderón

 

Calderon, Consultant, Pan-American Health Organization

 

 

Adriana grew up in a family of strong leaders in Bogota, Colombia. She attended the George Washington University where she received a BA in International Affairs and Political Science. She was part of the Varsity squash team and served as Class Council Vice President as well as Por Colombia Vice President empowering Colombian youth. She has interned for important institutions such as the Pan American Health Organization of the United Nations, and worked with development in women leadership and entrepreneurship in Latin America and Washington DC through the Colombian Association of Women Entrepreneurs and other NGOs. She is also involved in empowering and developing youth leadership projects, and acted as Deputy Executive Director for the International Young Leaders Assembly, Paraguay. Today she is serving as a consultant at the Pan American Health Organization/WHO and will start her Masters this year.
