Kimihira Miyake

Kimihira Miyake is Program Specialist for Youth Engagement and Leadership Development for the Global Peace Foundation. He has spent years working with youth of all ages ranging from pre-kindergarten to young professionals both in the United States and around the world. He has experience organizing numerous leadership opportunities for youth including a character development project for inner-city public schools, overseas exchange programs, nationwide service campaigns, youth summits and workshops, and outdoor adventure training programs. In 2013, his team’s work in Atlanta’s schools has been recognized by the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation identifying the project as a model urban innovation program. Kimihira has been involved with the International Young Leaders Assembly since its inception and continues to build the program to this day.
