Program Officer, The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT)

 

José has a background in economics and investment banking but his true passion is entrepreneurship. He joined the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) in order to support the organization’s mission to foster entrepreneurship as a solution to youth unemployment in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Since then, he has been actively involved in the development and execution of international programs that have impacted the lives of over 35,400 young people in 48 countries. His work within the organization includes the coordination of hemispheric competitions for startups and on-site business labs aimed at building entrepreneurial capacities in the region and supporting entrepreneurial ecosystems.
