Emily Miethner is the founder and president of NY Creative Interns, a community dedicated to setting up every young creative for career success.

 

Passionate about the power of social media and networking; Emily has spoken at numerous colleges, conferences, and events including SXSW Interactive, Social Media Week, Internet Week, The New School, and Columbia University. As the Founder and President of NY Creative Interns, the largest Meetup for interns and recent grads in New York City, Emily has produced dozens of events for audiences ranging from 10 to 1,500 attendees and thrives on developing programs that engage audiences and leaves them feeling empowered and ready to pursue their dream careers.

 

Since forming in October of 2010, they’ve become the largest Meetup for interns and recent grads in the country, producing over 70 events for more than 5,000 people. They have grown beyond just a meetup and now offer a highly-curated job board, virtual workshops, and will launch a membership program this fall. Emily can be found speaking about the power of social media and networking at schools, events, and companies including Columbia, New York University, Internet Week, SXSW Interactive, Mediabistro, and Time Inc.
