Despite his training in medicine, Dr. Teh's passion for social good has led him to work for nonprofits for years. A trainer and coach on self-discovery, leadership and volunteering, he works with people of diverse background and culture in nurturing a peaceful global community.

Dr. Teh led an entourage of 30-youth delegation to Jerusalem in 2004 for the Middle East Peace Initiative and in 2010 he developed the ‘Global Peace Volunteers’ as an incubator to nurture aspiring youth to be moral and innovative leaders. The Global Peace Volunteers has engaged thousands of youth in Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Nepal and Philippines. Dr. Teh has spoken at various conferences as an advocate for intercultural peace and youth volunteerism. Most recently, he spoke at the Global Peace Convention 2014 in Paraguay, and the Asia-Pacific Forum on Youth Volunteering in Bangkok.
