
Eric Clayton
Catholic Relief Services
Eric Clayton joined Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in June 2013 and is part of the US Church Engagement division. As a Senior Program Officer, he oversees CRS’s Lenten program, CRS Rice Bowl, providing strategic direction and narrative framing for the agency’s largest US-based program. He also supports the university and young adult outreach efforts at CRS, and launched an internal, global podcast series, “I AM CRS,” which invited staff worldwide to reflect on the value of mission and identity in international development work. Outside of CRS, he has been a contributor to online faith-based blogs and journals, including Busted Halo, as well as at Ashoka Changemakers, an NGO specializing in social entrepreneurship. He is an adjunct professor in the Department of Mass Communication at Towson University.
